Kuala Lumpur, March 11, 2016 – Mah Sing Group Berhad (Mah Sing) was recently recognized with the Social Media Excellence Award in Lifestyle Development, at an awards banquet held at the Glasshouse, Seputeh. This is the second consecutive year the Group received this award.
“Social media has become one of the most exciting platforms to communicate with the public. The interactive features have enabled Mah Sing to actively engage with our target audience, providing a two-way communication, rather than the traditional one-way communication. With this, we are able to better gauge the market’s needs and to create awareness surrounding the Mah Sing brand,” said Ng Chai Yong, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of Mah Sing.
Mah Sing is actively engaged on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WeChats. The Group organised campaigns such The Edge-Mah Sing Millionaire Campaign where the Group rewarded RM1million cash voucher to be redeemed against any Mah Sing residential properties. As part of the Mah Sing Foundation inaugural charity fun run, Mah Sing Foundation donated RM1 for every photo that was hashtagged with #mscharityrun. Recently, the Group held another contest where the winners were given complimentary tickets to watch “The Kid From Big Apple.” Held in conjunction with this campaign, for every photo hashtag with #MahSingBigApple on Instagram, Mah Sing Foundation donated RM8 to charity.
