KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24— Property developer, Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd, has posted record-high property sales of RM805.5 million for the 12-month ended Dec 31, 2015 against RM630.2 million chalked up in the same period last year, despite the challenging sentiment in the property market.
The commendable sales performance was attributed to unabated demand for it’s residential and commercial properties in the Bandar Sri Sendayan (BSS) township in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, and Taman Seri Impian (TSI) township in Kluang, Johor.
“This year, we target to launch at least RM1.0 billion worth of new projects in BSS and TSI, comprising mainly of affordably priced houses and complemented by premium properties to reflect the greater value-add and prominence of the townships,” it said in a statement.
The group will also launch a new ‘extreme park’ soon in BSS which would enhance the township’s vibrancy and boost its position as a recreational hotspot for residents as well as the surrounding vicinity.
“All in all, our pipeline launches, combined with our unbilled sales and upcoming billings through new sales, would position us well to achieve commendable financial performance in the year ahead,” said Chairman Datuk Mohd Haslah Mohamd Amin.
Matrix Concepts’ unbilled sales stood at RM633.2 million as at Dec 31, 2015.
