Developed by Country Grove Development Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary member of Binastra Land Sdn Bhd, the development spans across 3.2 acres of land with a gross development value of more than RM500 million.
Championing a sense of security in the minds of Citizen’s residents, the development will be packaged with a three-tier security system at the entrance as well as the lobby, yet prioritising the comfort of residents. Coupled with the exclusion of commercial entities within the development, Binastra Land’s general manager, Steven Ooi Hock Ang said that the exclusion strengthens the security of the development.
“Security is an issue in commercial areas as it will attract non-residents into the compound, so this is why we decided to keep the development as a fully residential project,” Ooi said, adding that there were already existing commercial points surrounding Citizen.
Featuring three high-rise residential towers with up to 711 serviced apartment units, the semi-furnished units are priced between RM500,000 and RM800,000, depending on the choice of layout and built-up areas of between 852 sq ft and 1,133 sq ft.
Each floor will come with eight serviced apartment units and each unit will come with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Units with more than 1,092 sq ft will have an extra room that has multi-purpose functions, such as a study room, guest room or as an extra family room.
“Citizen utilises spacious designs in its layout types with minimalist emphasis to make each serviced apartment unit to appear larger and room for improvements,”Ooi said.
The development will also be pampered with a plethora of facilities for the residents to enjoy, such as the lap pool equipped with Jacuzzi seats, children’s pool, poolside lounge, indoor and outdoor gymnasium, aqua gymnasium, sauna room, a barbecue terrace, a mini theatre and a futsal court within its landscape deck on the seventh floor, as well as a badminton court, forest lounge, and a yoga studio.
More than 85% of the units were sold during pre-registration campaign held earlier, and Ooi is positive that the pricing and location will appeal to the consumer market.
“The prime location of Old Klang Road itself will appeal to young professionals, young families, first-time house buyers, and even the older generations who are looking for a secure environment to reside in,” Ooi opined.
Residents will find the residence within close proximity with education institutions, hypermarkets and malls, local restaurants, medical clinics, and shop-office buildings.
Citizen will experience high connectivity as the development is coupled to the main roads. Road users can expect about 20 minutes travelling time from the serviced apartments to the city centre and Puchong, while Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya will just be less than 15 minutes away.
“We have plans to build a connecting bridge to Sri Sentosa from Citizen to allow residents an alternative route during the peak hours as a traffic diversion,” Ooi revealed.
The development is within close vicinity to many public transportation points aside easy accessibility to taxi services, including KTM Petaling station, KTM Pantai Dalam station, Jalan Othman bus terminal, and RapidKL LRT Sri Petaling station.
Citizen is expected to be completed by early 2019.
