KUALA LUMPUR, 14 March 2016: The 30th Malaysian Annual Real Estate Convention 2016 (MAREC’16) was held at the Connexion @ Nexus, Bangsar South on the 11th– 12th March. More than 300 participants signed up for this event offering abundant networking and learning opportunities.
MAREC’16 organizing chair lady Amanda Goh said, “This year, we picked the theme ‘Elevate to Differentiate’ because of the constant threat from illegal brokers and the recent risk of disintermediation, posed by digital platforms. Hence, there is an urgent need to elevate ourselves, skills and professionalism to rise above these threats through service differentiation.”
The event was launched by the president of Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia (BOVAEA) Datuk Sr Faizan bin Abdul Rahman, who said, “MIEA has been a great partner to work with in elevating the industry to the next level, to meet the needs of the real estate industry.
