PEKAN, June 13 — Uda Holdings Bhd (UDA) plans to open two new hotels under its Ancasa brand in the next five years, one each in Kota Baharu, Kelantan and Johor Baharu, Johor.
Chairman Datuk Mohd Shafei Abdullah said the Kota Baharu branch is expected to be built on a 1.5-hectare site next year at an estimated cost of RM50 million.
“Once this project is completed we will begin with the Johor Baharu branch,” he told reporters after the breaking of fast and aid presentation to special needs children at Ancasa Royale Pekan Hotel here yesterday.
