PETALING JAYA (March 7): The Vista Residences @ Genting Highlands serviced apartments soft launched by Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd in January this year is 50% sold, said executive director Datuk Tee Eng Ho.
The RM300 million gross development value (GDV) project will be developed on 1.33 acres of leasehold land at Genting Permai, which is at the foothills of Genting Highlands.
The 378 units of apartments have built-ups ranging from 844 sq ft to 3,144 sq ft and are fully furnished. Some of the furnishings include kitchen cabinets, ovens, dining tables and chairs, television cabinets and bed-set and mattress set.
The mixed-use development will also have 28 retail lots but they are currently not open for sale. Prices for the apartments start from RM700 psf and are set to be completed by the second quarter of 2019.
Genting Permai is about 40km away from Kuala Lumpur and is accessible via the Karak Highway.
“The development is also linked to Genting Highlands via the Genting Skyway as [the site] is located at the foothill of Genting Highlands, so not only is it a [pleasant] drive to Kuala Lumpur, the residents will [also] experience cooler weather and greener surroundings which promote healthy living,” Tee said.
“Currently, the construction progress has reached 20% overall, where the car park at the basement has been completed and construction has started from the ground level and above,” he added.
Some of the amenities include a heated pool and jacuzzi at the roof top, a multipurpose hall and a private sky lounge. The maintenance fee of the serviced residences is 30 sen psf.
Another upcoming development from the group is a RM200 million GDV project sitting on 8.7 acres of land next to the Monterez Golf and Country Club in Shah Alam that is set to be launched in 2H2016.
“We are still working on the details of the project and will share them with the public once we are ready,” Tee said.
Currently, the group has a total landbank of 10.1 acres with a total GDV of RM500 million.
